The Mount Alexander Shire Council website has a page dedicated to emergency information, including emergency relief centres open in Bendigo, Kyneton and Castlemaine.

Dhelkaya Health is attending the local bushfire recovery centre daily, and is providing:

• Health advice and support – from our team of registered nurses and other health professionals
• Mental health support  – from our counsellors and family services team
• Housing support – coordination of short-term accommodation options and providing general advice and information
• Supporting access to shower facilities at Camp Reserve
• Residential aged care – information about emergency respite.

Accessing support in a place that feels right for you
If you are seeking supports from Dhelkaya Health following the recent bushfires, our health service is available in locations that feel safer and comfortable for you. This includes the current Harcourt Recovery Centre, Dhelkaya Health Maldon or Castlemaine campuses, and, where appropriate, other community-based or home-based settings. We also have telehealth available for most programs.  Our priority is to meet you where you are, both physically and emotionally and ensure you can access the care and support you need in a way that feels right for you.
